A social landlord managing 38,000 homes across northern England is fitting its 550-vehicle van fleet with AI-powered dash cams and video telematics to cut road risks and boost driver safety.
Real-time monitoring and driver feedback
Together Housing has teamed up with Exeros to deploy the firm’s video telematics platform, driver app, and AI dash cams. The setup provides cloud-based incident footage, driver performance data, and fleet-wide insights.
Lee Warburton, property manager for fleet and contracts at Together Housing, said the technology was selected to help drivers while giving managers clearer oversight of fleet operations. “Keeping our drivers safe while maintaining a high standard of customer service is essential,” he said. “Exeros understood our goals from the start and worked with us to create a bespoke solution we’re thrilled with.”

The platform includes a privacy mode to maintain trust. Fleet-wide data will help the organization improve coaching, simplify accident handling, and align the system with its broader fleet plans.
Sector-leading safety ambitions
Jay Biring, CEO and co-founder of Exeros, described Together Housing as a leader in road safety. “We’re thrilled to partner with them on a bespoke solution that reduces road risk and provides practical insights that managers and drivers can use every day,” he said.
The rollout arrives as fleet operators face pressure to adopt new technologies and meet regulations. While electric vehicles suit many fleets—some now exceed 300 miles of range—vans remain difficult for some businesses. Concerns have moved from range anxiety to charging logistics, including availability, speed, and reimbursement costs.

This technology goes beyond compliance or cost savings. Organizations that depend on drivers for repairs, maintenance, or community visits treat safety as a daily concern. A near-miss avoided by a camera alert could prevent an accident that disrupts lives, schedules, and budgets.
The partnership will be a key component of Together Housing’s wider fleet strategy and will help provide a clearer understanding of driving behaviours, support coaching initiatives, and improve accident management.
